D. BRUCE CORKLE, P.E., APPOINTED MACTEC MIDWEST AREA MANAGER
CHICAGO, IL, March 3, 2008 – D. Bruce Corkle, P.E., has been named Midwest Area Manager at MACTEC Engineering and Consulting (MACTEC E&C). Bruce C. Coles, president of MACTEC E&C and chairman and CEO of MACTEC, Inc., the holding company (www.mactec.com), made the announcement. Corkle is based in Chicago and most recently served as office manager there.
Corkle now oversees all Midwest offices: Chicago and Peoria, IL; Lincoln, NE; and St. Louis and Kansas City, MO. These offices comprise more than 150 employees and generate more than $45 million in annual gross revenue.
Corkle joined MACTEC in 1995 and has over 30 years of consulting experience, particularly in process design and civil site development. He is one of the company’s leaders in environmental process engineering for the metals and metal finishing industries and is a co-inventor of patented process to reduce recycled process water.
Prior to joining MACTEC, Corkle was vice president and general manager of a privately held design-build engineering firm serving private sector clients in heavy metals and metal finishing industry.
Corkle is a registered Professional Engineer in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering mathematics from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma. Corkle is a member of NSPE and ASCE.
