Lucent Technologies Supply Chain Networks Organization, Nationwide Locations

On January 19, 2005, a group of MACTEC employees had the high honor of accepting the '2004 Winning Behavior Award' from representatives of one of our key clients, Lucent Technologies. This award provides recognition for "outstanding contributions to Lucent's Supply Chain Networks Organization."

MACTEC Senior Vice President Allen Kibler, CFO Bob Fooshee, Business Development professional Angel Hernandez, Phoenix Office Manager James Carusone, and Western Division Manager Jack Fraser, were presented the award certificate by Lucent's Joe Panico, Dave Noda, and Jose Pina at MACTEC's corporate office in Alpharetta. A discussion of current and future MACTEC/Lucent projects preceded the award presentation, and the group later adjourned for a celebratory dinner.

According to the December 22, 2004 letter to MACTEC announcing our selection for the award, "This recognition was created to address the need expressed by the sourcing cell and regional directors within the Lucent Supplier Management Group to recognize exceptional performance on the part of suppliers. In the case of MACTEC, your team was the clear choice for recognition by our Logistics team."

Our work with Lucent generated over $50 million in fees for the company in 2004, making them MACTEC's single largest client for the year. Quoting the December 22nd Lucent letter, "MACTEC was directly engaged in a number of strategically important projects with Lucent in 2004, including Sprint Mini-to-Mod, the ATT Wireless UMTS and Cingular GSM. Working closely with the Lucent team, you were able to overcome the challenges that come with large high-profile projects and complete them on-time and within budget."
