estate should now conduct environmental audits to uncover hidden liabilities.
This article will identify risky transactions, discuss the importance of
environmental audits to the Superfund law's innocent purchaser defense, and
suggest ways that legal and engineering consultants can organize audits to
uncover environmental exposure before closing.
