MACTEC Leads Massive Data Management Aspect of Federal Highway Administration Research Program
MACTEC has been involved in the Federal Highway Administration’s Long-Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) research program since its inception in 1987. A key component of our role in the program has been data management, beginning with our initial development of specifications for nearly all aspects of the program’s information management system and continuing through the present time. Our team developed and maintained nearly all of the 400 tables that comprise the IMS, developed a large percentage of the Quality Control checks for the data, and assisted in the creation of various user guides. Currently, MACTEC maintains the program’s computer servers, network systems and hardware and software.
