$2 Million in Fill Savings

For Nashville’s new 67,200-seat riverfront NFL stadium, MACTEC’s geotechnical consulting services were critical to developing the right structural design for the massive structure. Through a pragmatic evaluation of the existing fill, which would normally be disposed of rather than utilized, MACTEC achieved a direct project savings of nearly $2 million when our team determined that replacement fill material was not required.

MACTEC Recognized for Role in Construction of Unique Structure Predicted to Stand for 500 Years

The Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles recognized MACTEC’s project team for its vital contribution to a new 58,000 S.F. cathedral, which was planned and constructed in such a way that it is predicted to be capable of enduring for the next five centuries. Our team applied innovative concepts for development of the foundations, performing an investigation to identify geotechnical conditions and geologic hazards at the site and to provide data for design of foundations, while meeting City requirements for a designated "Slope Stability Study Area".
