CISAT ACADEMIC BUILDING, PHASE III
JAMES MADISON UNIVERSITY
MACTEC conducted a four-day value engineering study of the new 87,900SF building to house physics and chemistry instructional laboratories, classrooms, faculty offices and academic support facilities. The VE study resulted in savings of $2,138, 000 for this $20 million HLM Design project.

Renovation of the N.B. Clements Middle School
Prince George, VA
MACTEC performed a value engineering study for the renovation of this 1950s era building and build a two-story addition for 8 science rooms. When completed, the school will provide space for 1,200 eighth and ninth grade students. The construction cost for this project is estimated at $10.8 million. The VE team proposed $1.1 million in construction cost savings.

CISAT Phase II Academic Building
James Madison University
MACTEC performed a value engineering study on the new 214,000 SF classroom, administrative and atrium space in this state-of-the-art educational facility. The construction cost for this project was estimated at $25 million. The VE teams effort resulted in estimated savings of $2.3 million.
Lord Fairfax Community College
Fauqier Campus, Warrenton, Virginia
MACTEC conducted a VE study of a proposed new two story building and the renovation of an existing barn to provide classrooms and laboratories for 800 students in this community college. The VE study resulted in savings of $950,000 for this $8.3 million Virginia Community College System project.
