MACTEC conducted a value engineering study for the renovation of 227,000 SF of historic family housing units.  The construction cost for this Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command project was estimated at $24.6 million.  The VE study realized $14.5 million in construction cost savings.

The renovation included a wharf, piers, housing quarters, medical building and utilities.  The construction cost for this Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command project was estimated at $24 million.   The VE study realized $1.7 million in construction cost savings.
