MACTEC performed a value engineering study to expand the capacity of the City’s WWTP to provide adequate hydraulic capacity for the next 20 years, and to upgrade the plant to meet the new, mandated permit limits.  The construction cost for this project is estimated at $16 million.  The VE team proposed $1.9 million in construction cost savings.
