Mold Mitigation and Management Related to $400M Litigation Case
MACTEC managed the rapid deployment of facilities specialists to assess existing mold hazard in a 43-story New York luxury condominium constructed in 2000.  Our team evaluated construction defects, which had contributed to mold growth and resulted in ongoing litigation valued in excess of $400 million.  MACTEC successfully developed a mitigation plan and specifications for safe removal of mold-contaminated materials; provided post-remediation assessment services; implemented an operating and maintenance procedure to mitigate mold and moisture intrusion; and provided expert testimony to the NY State Attorney General's Office on behalf of our client.
