Construction Engineering & Inspection for Nevada DOT

MACTEC is augmenting Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) construction and office teams during extension of Interstate 580. Our engineers and specialists provide inspection, testing, and scheduling services for the construction of seven new bridges and several miles of highway.

This interstate project will connect Reno with Carson City, effectively completing I-580 in Washoe County. NDOT has been planning for decades to improve I-580 to freeway standards for its entire length in Nevada, and this long-term goal is now being realized. Advanced motorist safety features will include dynamic message signs and bridge anti-icing systems.
